55 Years of Floor Care Expertise, Right Here in Northern Kentucky

There's a reason customers from Florence, Covington, Cincinnati, and beyond keep coming back to Bob's Original Sweeper Shop. Since 1971, we've built our reputation on honest advice, quality brands, and service that doesn't stop at the sale. Owner Roger Noble, a United States Marine Corps veteran, runs the shop with the same discipline and straight talk he carried in uniform. You get real answers, fair pricing that matches the lowest advertised rates online, and a team that has seen every vacuum problem imaginable over the last five-plus decades. From carpet cleaning solutions to full central vacuum systems, we match you with what your home actually needs.

New & Used Vacuum Cleaners
Not all vacuums are built the same. The difference between a machine that creaks and cracks after six months and one that feels solid in your hand every single time is real, and it's something you notice the moment you pick it up. We carry new and used units from top American and German brands, including Riccar, Miele, Sebo, Dyson, Shark, and Hoover. Whether you're a pet owner dealing with heavy shedding, a parent who needs a machine that can take a beating, or an allergy sufferer who needs sealed-system HEPA filtration, we'll point you to the right unit at a price that makes sense.

Central Vacuum Systems
A central vacuum system is one of the most practical upgrades a homeowner or builder can add to a property. No more lugging a machine from room to room, no motor noise in the living space, and far superior suction compared to most portable units. We handle professional installation and full servicing of central vacuum systems across the Northern Kentucky and Greater Cincinnati area. We also offer free in-home estimates, so you get an honest picture of what installation involves before committing. Builders in the area rely on us to spec and install these systems in new construction, and homeowners trust us to keep existing systems running strong.

Commercial Cleaning Equipment
Residential machines aren't built for commercial-grade demands. If you're managing a business, rental property, or high-traffic space across Kenton, Boone, Campbell, or Hamilton County, you need equipment that keeps up. We carry commercial-grade cleaning equipment built for durability and performance, and our staff can help you identify the right solution for your specific workload. We also service commercial equipment, so when something breaks down, you have a local shop ready to get you back up and running fast.

Janitorial Supplies
Professional cleaning products make a real difference compared to what you'll find at a grocery store. We carry professional-grade glass cleaners, chemical cleaners, carpet care solutions, and stain removers formulated to cut through the tough stuff. Whether you're dealing with a stubborn carpet stain, grimy glass surfaces, or everyday buildup, our janitorial supplies give you the same tools that cleaning professionals rely on. From vacuum shampoo and detergent to surface treatments and specialty cleaners, these are products that get the job done without the guesswork.

Rug Doctor Rentals
Sometimes a deep carpet clean is all you need, and buying a full machine for one job doesn't make sense. We offer Rug Doctor rental machines through our consignment program, giving you access to powerful carpet cleaning solutions without the long-term commitment. It's a practical, affordable option for homeowners across the Florence, Erlanger, and Covington area who want professional results on their own schedule. And if you find yourself renting more than a couple of times a year, we're happy to talk through whether owning a quality unit might actually save you money in the long run.
